When purchased from Catalyst Bioptics or from it's Authorized Distributor, Catalyst Bioptics's products are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for the period of minimum ONE YEAR or more, depending on the type of product (please refer to the warranty period of the respective product), from the date of purchase.

Once received by Catalyst Bioptics or its Authorized Distributor , the product will be inspected to determine if it is covered by the Catalyst Bioptics warranty. You may be asked to fill out a warranty claim form before processing can be completed. If the product is not covered under warranty, all replacement, repair, and shipping costs are responsibility of the customer. By sending your product in for inspection you agree that Catalyst Bioptics cannot return unrepairable unwarranted products to you (without a signed letter) if they are unsafe to use in their unrepaired/unrepairable condition. Catalyst Bioptics will make the final decision on whether or not shipping charges will be charged for the shipping of the replacement product.

At no time may any Authorized Distributor of Catalyst Bioptics or any unauthorized personnel, make representations of what is covered or not covered under this warranty without written permission from Catalyst Bioptics. Should any Authorized Distributor of Catalyst Bioptics or any unauthorized personnel replace product before consulting Catalyst Bioptics, it is at the sole discretion of that distributor and they may not be reimbursed by Catalyst Bioptics. Any such unauthorized repairs will make the warranty of the products void. When a product or part is exchanged, any replacement item becomes property of the customer and the returned product becomes the property of Catalyst Bioptics, which may destroy it.

Catalyst Bioptics will make its warranty determination within 07 days after receipt of the product, proof of purchase and any other item or information required in this warranty.

In the event of repairs of any part/s of the unit, this warranty will thereafter continue and remain in force only for the unexpired period of the warranty. The time taken for repair and in transit whether under the warranty or otherwise shall not be excluded from the warranty period.

The warranty is issued for India, and Courts at Navi Mumbai shall have exclusive jurisdiction over matters covered or flowing from this warranty.

This warranty does not cover the following:

Re-Installation, Demo, Servicing, Cleaning of the product is not covered under warranty and will be done on chargeable basis.

Damage to the lenses or optics of the Camera due to Fungal attack, are not covered under warranty.

Products that have been modified, neglected or poorly maintained, misused or abused or which fail because of accident, fire, theft, acts of nature, negligence, or the use of chemicals which have a deleterious effect. It is your responsibility to regularly examine the product to determine the need for normal service or replacement.

Defects caused by rats, cockroaches or any other animals or insects.

Damage occurring during shipment of the products (such claims must be presented directly to the shipper).

Products sold or distributed by Catalyst Bioptics (such as Computers, Laptops, Printers, UPS, etc.) that are covered by another sellers warranty; this Catalyst Bioptics warranty does not extend, modify or replace any other warranty.

The warranty does not cover accessories external to the product.

Products whose serial number or other identifying marks or labels have been altered, defaced or removed.

Products that are purchased used, or in not-new condition without original packaging.

Site (premises where the product is kept) conditions that do not confirm to the recommended operating conditions of the product.

Damage to products resulting from improper assembly or repair (or the techniques used), the use or installation of Non Catalyst Bioptics parts or accessories/components not compatible with the original specifications or intended use of the product, or the failure to follow the product warnings, installation and usage instructions.

In case of any damage to the product / misuse detected by the authorized service personnel, the warranty conditions are not applicable and repairs will be done subject to availability of parts and on chargeable basis only.

Products purchased from, installed, adjusted and or assembled by non Catalyst Bioptics Authorized Distributors.

If the product warranty sticker is found damaged, the product warranty will considered to be void.

Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear (including, without limitation, wear and tear of camera lenses, batteries or displays).

Warranty does not cover defects caused by the fact that the battery has been short-circuited or by the fact that the seals of the battery enclosure or the cells are broken or show evidence of tampering or by the fact that the battery has been used in equipment other than those for which it has been specified.

Damage or deterioration to the surface finish, paint, aesthetics or appearance of the product.

Claims made by any Authorized or Non-Authorized Distributor (not on behalf of any customer).

Any returning product, specifically those being returned under warranty, must follow the Returned Material Authorization (RMA) process. For RMA instructions please refer to the RMA section in this site.

Any products for which the customer does not follow the warranty procedures outlined above.
